Groupe Berkem will attend the 6th edition of the International Conference on Bio-Based Building Materials (ICBBM2025), which will take place from June 17 to 20, 2025, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A key event for bio-based materials in construction

ICBBM2025 brings together each year the leading international experts in bio-based building materials. This event is a major platform for sharing the latest advances in natural fibers, composites, mechanical performance, durability, innovation, and eco-friendly solutions for sustainable construction. Groupe Berkem’s participation is fully in line with its strategy of innovation and international development, particularly in markets driven by the ecological transition and low-carbon construction.

On the agenda for Groupe Berkem:

• A scientific poster entitled “Vegetal polyphenol extracts as biofungicides for the durability of biobased materials”
• An oral presentation entitled “Durability study of mycelium composite: Identification, quantification and mitigation of mold development”
