Chimical is a YouTube channel aimed at anyone wanting to learn more about the world of chemistry. Chemistry is a fundamental science and helps us to understand and explain many aspects of everyday life. However, the scientific concepts involved can be complex. So, Chimical was created to break down the concepts of this cutting-edge field and make news and discoveries more accessible to a wider audience.

The Chimical story

With 60 years of chemistry expertise, Groupe Berkem aims to produce professional, educational content for everyone. As a result, Groupe Berkem’s head office in Blanquefort has even added a video studio to its premises. There, the company is able to host film shoots and produce popular science videos.

Created in November 2022, Chimical aims to promote the cutting-edge field of chemistry by making learning and education more accessible. Through its videos, the Youtube channel shows that you don’t have to be a chemist to do chemistry because it’s already at the heart of everyone’s daily life.

Antoine Robert, the voice of Chimical

Antoine has a PhD in organic chemistry and joined Groupe Berkem as communications and science outreach officer. Passionate about science education and with over 10 years of experience in the field, Antoine shares his passion for science by creating educational videos to help the general public better understand chemistry.
