Groupe Berkem, a specialist in the formulation of products for preserving building materials, talks to you today about TERMIFILM, a preventive, effective and innovative solution for providing lasting protection against termites.

Termites: a scourge for homes

Found in almost 54 French départements, termites are an ever-growing insect that can invade poorly protected homes. The termite is a wood-eating insect that feeds mainly on the cellulose present in the wood of frames and wooden materials, but it can also attack plastic, cement and many other building materials.
Dwellings are therefore a real source of food for these invisible, silent insects, which in the long term can cause severe damage to the masonry and structure of a dwelling. Fortunately, there are solutions to prevent these attacks: preventive solutions.

Why opt for a preventive solution against termites?

By protecting a building from the outset, you can be sure that your assets will be protected for the long term, and that the structure will comply with current regulations.

The TERMIFILM proposed by Groupe Berkem

In response to this problem, the Groupe Berkem is offering a preventive solution to termites: TERMIFILM.
Environmentally friendly, durable and compliant with regulations, this solution has everything it takes to offer a reliable and effective response to termites.

How does Termifilm work?

TERMIFILM is a hard-wearing, non-washable, anti-termite and anti-capillary rise film that covers the entire surface between the floor and the structure of a building. Made from polyethylene and containing termicidal molecules, this barrier is certified impenetrable, preventing any termites from climbing up through the soil and invading a home. The film acts as a physical barrier and repellent to termites.

How do I apply TERMIFILM?

TERMIFILM is a solution to be used before the construction of a building. This film is placed between the ground and the building. It acts as a barrier and prevents infestation of buildings. This prevents termites from gaining access to masonry, pipes and ducts.
